Turner and Townsend turn up for Rottnest
On 10 July we hosted a group of 20 dedicated volunteers from Turner & Townsend who really turned up for their corporate volunteering day. The team worked diligently to plant 500 hundred young seedlings in just a few hours!
The team were helped along by some fantastic weather and beautiful views of the ocean and Wadjemup Lighthouse.
But the day wasn't finished, with the volunteers competing in a fun team-building Scavenger Hunt after lunch, which took them all around The Settlement searching out the environmental and heritage landmarks that make Rottnest Island so unique.
Volunteer planting days like this make a huge impact on the Rottnest Foundation's Woodlands Restoration and Expansion project, and they can make an even bigger impact on corporate teams, helping build team engagement and employee satisfaction, while also contributing to your organisational ESG targets.
