Holly Brindle joins Rottnest Foundation Board

The Rottnest Foundation is excited to welcome Holly Brindle as a new Rottnest Foundation Board Member.

Holly is currently an Executive Director of the Brindle Group which includes The Good Grocer IGA stores across Perth Metro, Rottnest General Store, Geordie Bay General Store, Rottnest Liquor Store, Rottnest Bakery, and Indianic on Rottnest.   The Brindle family have had a long-standing connection to Rottnest Island since the early 90’s.  In her position as Executive Director, she leads the commercial functions of the business including strategy, brand growth, community partnerships and advocacy.  

Holly also holds the position of Vice Chair at the Rottnest Island Chamber of Commerce, where she is responsible for connecting with island stakeholders, reviewing and engaging with the Rottnest Island Management Plan (RIMP) and supporting the sustainable growth of Rottnest Island. She also has extensive experience working in branding and advertising both locally and overseas.  

In joining the Rottnest Foundation as a Board Member, Holly will help to foster a collaborative and proactive relationship with the RICC and its members. Rottnest Island businesses are key stakeholders in the ongoing conservation of the Island. Holly's appointment will ensure the views of Island businesses are understood and considered, which will enable the Foundation to make informed decisions as we pursue our aim to conserve the essence of Wadjemup. 

Of her connection to Rottnest, Holly has said, "I’m ingrained in the business community in a position of responsibility to support the island’s sustainable growth.  Rottnest feels like home, it’s never far away and I’m committed to protecting and preserving it for future generations.”
