Partnerships Update
For the last five years, the Rottnest Foundation has partnered with Samphire Rottnest on the Go Green Initiative. When a Samphire Rottnest guest chooses to skip room service, $5 is donated to the Rottnest Foundation. Not only does this initiative save precious water and energy for Wadjemup, but it also contributes to the Foundation's conservation activities on the island and spreads the word about the work we do. We are so excited to continue this partnership in 2026.
Additionally, we are thrilled to be partnering again in 2027 with the Happy Quokka calendar through Universal Media. Since our partnership began, the Happy Quokka calendar has helped raise $3,500 for the Rottnest Foundation, with $1 from every calendar sold being donated directly to the Foundation.
While our partnerships are important in raising funds and building recognition for the Rottnest Foundation, we would also like to acknowledge the pro-bono legal support we have recently received from K&L Gates Perth office. The team at K&L Gates have assisted in our recent Constitution review and have been instrumental in updating our current partnership agreements. This legal support is incredibly valuable, setting the Rottnest Foundation up for success, as we grow.
