Andy Fethers joins the Rottnest Foundation Board

The Rottnest Foundation is excited to announce the appointment of Andy Fethers as a new Board Member.  Currently the CEO of the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club, Andy has been associated with the Rottnest Foundation for the last 18 months as an Ambassador.

He has extensive experience in fundraising, strategic planning and project management and strong connections to the WA boating community through his professional sailing career. Andy holds two World Sailing titles and has competed for the America’s Cup four times!

He has a strong personal connection to and appreciation of Rottnest Island. Of his appointment Andy said "Rottnest Island shaped a fair chunk of my youth – sunburnt summers, salty adventures, and more than a few life lessons from the sea. I’m delighted to be joining the board of the Rottnest Island Foundation and stoked to give back to a place that gave me so much. Time to roll up the sleeves and do my bit for this iconic patch of western Australian paradise.”

Andy's experience and knowledge in the fundraising space and his connection to the island and the WA boating community will be a great asset to the Rottnest Foundation Board as we continue to develop strategically and work to 'Conserve the essence of Wadjemup'.
